Philanthropy

Philanthropy is at the heart of the Kappa Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Phi. Our national philanthropies are Sharsheret and Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. Sharsheret is the only national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Jewish women and their families facing breast and ovarian cancer. EGPAF is a non-profit organization leading the fight to end HIV and AIDS through service delivery, research, and advocacy. Our dedication to these inspiring organizations has enabled us to host many successful events each year to raise funds and awareness. These events are opportunities for us and the larger community to come together to do meaningful work. Recently, we hosted the yearly Pink Week for Sharsheret, which included Pink Shabbat Dinner, Challah Bake Sale, Apple Cider Donut Sale, and a Poke Fundraiser. Other events in the past have included Pink Day Bake Sale, Puppies and Popsicles, and collaborations with other Greek organizations and the larger Cornell community.
The AEPhi Kappa Chapter at Cornell University is dedicated to enthusiastically supporting these organizations and utilizing our philanthropic efforts to have the biggest impact we can. Not only is philanthropy an opportunity to give back, but it unites and strengthens our sisterhood through a shared goal.
